To properly understand my book, it will be beneficial to you to have a copy or have read the book TwistA-Matic Theology: Exploring the Doctrines of the Hebrew Roots Movement by Brent Adkisson. It is not necessary, but you will need to see what the author says in his book for some of my commentary on his book to make more sense.
It was after an in-depth look at the book written by Brent Adkisson that I felt compelled to defend my beliefs and why I hold to them. In the book Twist-A-Matic Theology, the author comes against what is generally called the Hebrew Roots movement. There are many of us who believe that the keeping of God’s law is still applicable to the believer in the One True Living God, and His only begotten Son, Jesus. We are generally referred to as “Hebrew Roots.” This is a very general term, and the beliefs vary greatly across those of us who believe that God’s law is still applicable. Just as Christianity has many different denominations and the beliefs across the denominational lines vary greatly, so do the beliefs across the Hebrew Roots movement. We should want to be careful when generalizing an entire group of people and what they hold to as their beliefs.
